Team FLRAA Acceleration

MV-75 is going to take our soldiers when the nation calls and commit them to the fight much faster. And I also foresee this aircraft can be anything that the nation needs it to be. The strategic value for the MV-75, which really makes it unique, is it goes twice as fast and twice as far. Very excited to get MV-75 out there on the accelerated timeline that the Army's looking for. How we do that is by reducing risk in our design phase, using all the tools that we have access to from a digital engineering standpoint, from a model-based systems engineering standpoint. All the validated and analytical tools that we've got from our joint multi role tech demonstrator effort, all of that is going into ensuring that when we deliver it, it is an aircraft and a weapon system that meets the requirements and meets the long term needs of the customer. I've worked on a lot of rotorcraft programs, and what I see at Bell is a real forethought in manufacturing how to take lead times down, how to build things that would take hundreds of hours down to single digit hours using the most advanced materials, the most advanced processes. And I think that's really going to help us to deliver MV-75 cheaper, faster and deliver the capability much sooner. We've been preparing for this program for a long time, and acceleration is very good news. We've chosen what I would call best in class as our chosen partners, a Team FLRAA, but all our suppliers and these are all professionals, they're all very high quality companies with a lot of talent, they're gonna be able to flex to this acceleration proposition. The collaboration that we have with Bell on this program has really helped to expedite the program. And so through assignment of key resources, strategic investment in terms of product capabilities and resources, we're able to lean forward on key design elements to help expedite the execution of the program. GE has over 20 years of experience in this industry, and so we're leveraging that expertise and working very collaboratively with Bell and the US Army to ensure that we have the right capability and the right functionality needed for the future long range assault aircraft. When it's needed, we've invested in our ability to produce a greater scalability, greater than a billion dollar investment in advanced manufacturing and test facilities. We've also invested in our workforce readiness and our engineering readiness. Combined with the American workforce is positioned to meet the Army's needs and accelerate. Eaton and the Bell team. We've had a great partnership even since 2012 as part of the demonstrator program. So we've taken a balanced approach in terms of introducing new technology where it's essential and it offers the value, but relying on products that are used on similar rotorcraft in order to balance the risk and meet the program schedule. Lockheed Martin is aggressively deploying digital technologies to the FLRAA platform. We are leveraging an open standards, open architecture based approach and implementation. We've enabled the capabilities to be deployed to the FLRAA platform at a rapid pace. Team FLRAA is incredibly important, supporting the MV-75 platform. We've built this team over more than a decade. This is a team focused and committed to delivering a capability for the war fighter and doing it on time.
